EMILY KACPRZAK
Emily Kacprzak, M.A., LPC-C, NCC (she/her)
Psychotherapist
Emily is deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space that honors the authenticity of everyone’s journey. She understands that therapy can feel challenging for individuals who have either had a negative experience in the past with it or no experience at all. With a belief that therapy is a collaborative venture, she fosters a genuine, warm, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their lived experiences and find unique paths to healing and empowerment.
Emily utilizes an integrated approach drawing from CBT, DBT, humanistic, and person-centered orientations in order to cater to each individual client’s needs, and works from her beliefs that therapy is a unique experience for everyone. Emily has worked with individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, and her clinical work often centers around trauma, anxiety, and depressive disorders. She has worked with individuals of all age groups and has the most experience collaborating with adolescents and adults through a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and empathetic approach.
Emily is dedicated to upholding values of cultural competence and social justice to promote diversity and inclusivity in the therapeutic process. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and prioritizes the idea of welcoming anyone to either start or continue their journey into healing and wellbeing through a trusting therapeutic relationship.
