JENNY DUNN
Jenny Dunn, M.A., LPC (she/her)
Psychotherapist
Jenny's approach is both practical and supportive, incorporating tools like mindfulness and cognitive strategies to help clients manage anxiety, strengthen relationships, and reduce stress. She assists clients in developing balanced thinking and making meaningful changes that reduce anxiety and improve functioning. Life experiences can lead to coping strategies that may no longer serve individuals, but Jenny believes these patterns are not fixed and can be changed.
While moving forward can sometimes feel uncomfortable, her therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients build resilience, access inner strength, and achieve meaningful growth. Jenny focuses on creating a safe and collaborative space where clients work together to develop tools for overcoming emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges. She recognizes that deciding to seek therapy can be difficult and aims to support clients in taking small steps that facilitate change and personal growth.
Jenny customizes her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client, drawing from a variety of treatment modalities. She is deeply committed to helping clients navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and relationship difficulties. Her compassionate approach fosters a safe and understanding environment where clients can work through their concerns and achieve meaningful progress.
