The process of healing is complex and unique to each person and Myrna strives to create a warm and accepting environment through non-judgment and cultural humility. Myrna’s main goal is to empower clients to recognize their own resilience no matter the obstacles they face. Healing can be a daunting process, yet Myrna believes no individual should have to go through it alone. Therefore Myrna aims to create a collaborative approach to therapy.

Through a person-centered and diversity affirming lens, Myrna works to create a positive and encouraging dynamic with each client, meanwhile helping clients recognize the impacts that our thoughts and behaviors have on our ability to lead a fulfilling life. Myrna specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults from across the lifespan facing a diverse range of conflicts. Myrna has worked to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, relationship conflicts, life transitions, cultural, and self-esteem related issues.

As a cultural minority, Myrna emphasizes multicultural inclusion and diversity and is committed to expanding these skills throughout her life. Additionally, Myrna is LGBTQIA+ affirming and aims to ensure each person feels welcomed when approaching the process of healing.
