Savannah is committed to helping lower those barriers and would be honored to join should you choose this journey forward. In your work together, Savannah will strive to set an overall sense of comfort where empathy, reliability, positivity and non-judgment are paramount.
Taking a strengths-based perspective, Savannah feels strongly that her approach is client-centered and individualized in order to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. Savannah’s experience has been in trauma-informed, harm reduction-based practices and she supports these approaches in everyday therapy. Savannah recognizes every person’s unique life story and perspective and is proud to welcome clients from all ages, identities, and backgrounds. She specializes in addressing anxiety, depression, life and career transitions, self-esteem issues, relationship conflicts, and substance use.
Prior to private practice, Savannah has worked in community mental health and medication-assisted treatment. In addition to her clinical work, Savannah is a pop culture lover, social justice advocate, and a proud Chicagoan – all facets to her identity as a multiculturally competent therapist.
