SAVANNAH JOHNSTON-SCHMIDT

Savannah Johnston-Schmidt, M.A., LPC, NCC (she/her)

Psychotherapist

Savannah has always been deeply curious about the “why” behind human behavior … what shapes us, guides us, and sometimes holds us back. As both a therapist and a fellow human navigating life’s complexity, she believes that understanding your “why” is a powerful and personal journey. For Savannah, therapy is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about uncovering strengths, honoring your unique story, and creating space for healing, growth, and authenticity.

With a deep commitment to providing individualized care, Savannah is informed by a strengths-based approach, acknowledging relational elements in healing as well as attachment theory. She welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and identities and brings a culturally responsive lens to her work.

Savannah has experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, career uncertainty, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and substance use. No matter where you are at in your personal journey, Savannah hopes therapy can be a time for you to connect, explore, and heal.
