Celina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Professional, and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, with 10 years of experience helping youth and adults overcome obstacles sustained through life’s challenges, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity concerns, behavior issues, relationship problems, and family conflicts. She helps adults with childhood trauma through a holistic and trauma-informed approach to inner child healing.
She also has experience providing services to individuals impacted by immigration and acculturation and has worked with children/parents and families through DCFS, as well as therapy for unaccompanied migrant youth, DACA recipients, and refugees.
As a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, Celina has experience working with adults who face sexual trauma. She specializes in providing therapy to adults exploring their sexual identity, boundary setting, assertiveness, and intimacy needs as well as individuals who experience intimacy and sex related concerns.
Whether a first experience or continued services, Celina focuses on building healthy and trusting therapeutic relationships and provides an empowering experience in therapy.
