Tamara Rigsby, M.S.W., LSW (she/her)

Psychotherapist

Tamara understands that much of the hurt and pain people experience is shaped in the relationship with oneself or others, and that healing can also occur through safe, supportive, and attuned connection. For this reason, Tamara places strong emphasis on building a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship over time. She approaches mental wellness from a non-pathologizing lens and views therapy as a meaningful opportunity to deepen self-understanding.

Tamara is passionate about helping people process their lived experience, supporting them in reclaiming their narrative and reconnecting with parts of themselves that may feel burdened or unseen. Her work is grounded in attachment-based theories and draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strengths-based frameworks. She is also passionate about social justice and recognizes how systems of oppression and social context impact mental wellness. Coming from a large, multicultural family, Tamara brings a deep respect for cultural diversity into her work and strives to create a space where clients feel fully seen and valued in their identities.

Tamara’s areas of interest include OCD, depression, interpersonal relationships, religious trauma, and women’s mental health. Tamara brings a warm, friendly, and inquisitive presence to her work, creating space for thoughtful exploration and collaboration. She is honored to accompany clients on their journey towards healing, growth, and reconnection with themselves.
