Psychotherapist
To be human is to tell stories, not only to others but to ourselves. As people navigate life, they accumulate experiences that weave the fabric of their story. Margaret views therapy not only as an opportunity for self-reflection but also for developing different perspectives.
Margaret’s approach to therapy is client-centered, rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard for her clients. She encourages and empowers clients to feel capable of self-growth as they face life’s challenges. Each person is unique, and Margaret integrates various evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to address present concerns. She has experience working with young adults and adults, addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and healthy lifestyle maintenance. She holds additional online certification to treat complex trauma and dissociative disorders.
Margaret strives to constantly examine and deepen her cultural awareness as it informs her worldview.
